The failed floodlights on The Birmingham Road side of the ground have now been successfully repaired. Three lamps have been replaced and wiring in the control boxes has been modified so that lamps with internal igniters can be fitted. This modification should ensure a longer bulb life and better ignition when the floodlights are turned on. The temporary supplementary light fitted last week at the town end has been moved to supplement the lighting at the shed end.
The repairs have obviously come at a considerable cost which can hopefully be re-couped from events run in The Rousler Bar over the coming months and support of The Lottery and Super Six competitions. Please support these fund raising schemes and events if you can to enable us to keep the lights on.
