Bromsgrove Sporting continued their fine form with a comfortable 6-0 victory over basement side Southam United at Banbury Road.

Playing against a strong wind in the first half Sporting were two goals to the good at the break through a Jason Cowley brace with goals after 23 and 40 minutes.

Sporting continued to dominate proceedings after the break and added further goals at the start of the half, with Cowley completeing his hat-trick (49) and 2 goals in 2 minutes through Luke Shorthouse (53) and Luke Edwards (54). Manager Paul Smith made 3 changes around the hour mark with one of them Chris Lloyd scoring the sixth in the 87th minute which arguably was the goal of the game.

Bromsgrove now play at home on Tuesday evening against Bolehall Swifts, before attention turns to the F. A. Vase semi-final.
